One address, read by a person. There is no form on this page, because a form needs a server to post to and this site does not have one — which is the same reason nothing you type into a calculator goes anywhere.
Please do not send documents. Finance agreements, insurance papers, a driving licence or a photo of the plate on a doorframe are of no use to us and we do not want to hold them. A VIN is not needed either: nothing on this site decodes one yet, and when it does, it will decode in your own browser rather than in our inbox.
What to expect
Mail reaches an inbox a person actually opens, and a report about a figure that looks wrong will get a reply. Expect days rather than hours. This is one site maintained by one team alongside others; there is no staffed support desk, no ticket number and no out-of-hours cover, and a message that needs no answer may not get one. Saying otherwise would be easy and would be false.
Reporting a figure that looks wrong
This is the message most worth sending, and the arithmetic is checked against worked examples precisely so that a disagreement is interesting rather than routine. Four things make it actionable:
- Which calculator — car loan, tire size or gear ratio.
- Exactly what you entered, field by field.
- What the page showed, and what you expected instead.
- Your browser and whether it is a phone or a desktop, if the problem is that something did not work at all rather than that a number was wrong.
A fix goes out as a new release of the site and is described on the page it affects, rather than argued about privately.
What this address cannot do
- Look up a vehicle for you. No accident, title or salvage history, no licence-plate lookup and no window sticker — the how it works page explains why each of those is refused rather than sold.
- Tell you whether a tire fits. That depends on the vehicle, the wheel offset and the suspension, none of which is in a size string. The terms put it plainly.
- Give financial, legal or mechanical advice. Every figure here is arithmetic for planning.
Privacy of what you send
Mail is mail: your message and your address arrive in an inbox and stay there until it is dealt with. That is outside the browser, so it is the one part of this site not covered by the promise on the privacy page — which is exactly why the request above is to send as little as possible.
